I’m a residential homeowner in central NJ who has a outdoor lawn drainage problem. My sump pump has been running constantly the last few months which is adding to my lawn saturation problems. Is my problem the result of all the rain in recent months? Or is it a possible water table problem? In reading the Internet, it sounds like I may need a trench drain solution. Of course, I am speaking from a zero knowledge base. I need input from an expert who could evaluate all options and pick the best one to solve my problem. Does this sound like a problem that you have addressed in the past for other residential homeowners? Could this problem be resolved before mowing season starts? I ask because portions of my lawn are soft as a wet sponge. What is the first step? Do you come, evaluate my problem, recommend a solution, and give us a cost estimate for installing the recommended solution? Is this a free cost estimate? Look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.
